Wrong sleeping behaviour
For some time now, I tend to sleep too little overnight, a maximum of 6 hours, and after work, I take a nap for 1-2 hours.
The problem is that I feel tired with this behaviour of sleeping. It’s a nightmare in the morning until I begin to function. And after work, if I’m not going anywhere that afternoon, I’m so sleepy that I barely stand up. I even fell asleep on the chair watching a video on YouTube.
I have been trying to change this behaviour, but going to bed at 9-10 PM (to sleep at least 8 hours overnight) makes me think I’m wasting so much precious time.
So, for me, the talk about morning persons and how to be successful in that way it’s bullshit. I’m mentally too weak to force myself to exercise first thing in the morning.
My guess is that it depends on age. Older people need fewer hours of sleep. I hope that ageing will make me a morning person. A successful one.
To be clear, by force (work), I wake up every morning at 6:00 AM. But I don't consider myself a morning person.
